Hello Dear Reader!

IT'S NEARLY TIME!!!! The buzz at YSW HQ is palpable this afternoon as we scramble to get everything finished.

Sponsors are confirming their tickets. Delegates are buying tickets on the phone, through email, from text, you name it we've sold it any which way...

We've done a count today and so far, we have had over 1200 registrations across the whole week! ?? What a phenomenal response for our first year!!!!

NOW I caveat this with one disclaimer so you don't turn up and get disappointed when you're faced with only 300 people in a venue when you're envisioning 1200 ?? - we have 20 events spread across the whole of?Yorkshire Sustainability Week ! This is a whole FESTIVAL of events. Some of the events have 8 people attending, others have way over 200+ attending - it's a real mix!

We'll still be selling tickets to all events right through the week - you'll be able to get them on the doors, you'll be able to get them online right before (except for The Secret Business Lunch, that's going to be sold out by tomorrow - will keep you in the loop on the other ones!) and the phone and email lines will be open until COP Friday if you find calling us easier for your group bookings.

Today, a govt watchdog confirmed that the UK is no longer a world leader on climate. Let's get our Yorkshire Sustainability community together and show this govt, our local leaders, our business community that we do care about climate and we've got what it takes to make Yorkshire & The UK a world leader on climate again!!!!
