Burger Day - The Great Seychelles Burger Showdown
Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa 's Labriz Gastrolounge recently hosted an unforgettable Burger Day event, where culinary creativity and passion were on full display. This gourmet burger competition attracted some of the most talented chefs, who battled it out in front of a live audience to claim the title of ultimate burger champion. We were honored to have a distinguished panel of judges who brought their expertise and discerning palates to the table: Leon Hatton-Jones , Andre Correia, stuart cason and Enoryt Appollis . Their insights and feedback were instrumental in selecting our winners.
We are delighted to announce the winners of this exciting competition:
1st Place: Burger She Wrote - Vegan Burger with Curry Sauce Recipe by Anna-Maria Banane.
Anna-Maria’s vegan burger was a true testament to the potential of plant-based cuisine, offering a unique and flavorful experience that wowed the judges and audience alike.
2nd Place: Granmoun Burger by Lina Rassool.
Lina’s creation was a nostalgic nod to traditional flavors, expertly crafted into a modern burger that resonated deeply with our panel of judges.

3rd Place: Christian's Guilty Pleasure - Wagyu Burger with Candied Bacon, Roasted Onions, and Sweet & Spicy Tomato Chutney by Christian Moise.
Christian’s burger was an indulgent masterpiece that combined luxurious ingredients with bold flavors, earning him a well-deserved spot in the top three.
