Bung Hatta University Electrical Engineering Internship at PT Galaksi Investasi Harapan

Students from the Electrical Engineering Department at Bung Hatta University (Amrizal, Muhammad Iqbal, Viydia Ulan Dari) are currently undertaking an industrial internship at PT Galaksi Investasi Harapan, under the guidance of Mam Bintang Priscilla Chirsty, who serves as the Head of HR and Accounting Finance, this internship, initiated on July 24, 2023, assigns the students a project related to the company's electrical system.

Industrial internships form an integral part of the curriculum for students of the Electrical Engineering Department at Bung Hatta University. These internships aim to provide practical work experience for students entering the professional world, affording them direct exposure to industrial operations.

During the project execution, the interns work as a team, conducting on-site surveys, engaging in discussions with the facility team, and inspecting company panels under the direct guidance of facility personnel.

The interns made their inaugural presentation on the company's electrical system's Single Line diagram. This presentation served to enhance their understanding of the electrical system layout and design within the company.

This internship program equips students from Bung Hatta University's Electrical Engineering Department with practical experience, enabling them to apply their theoretical knowledge acquired during their academic studies. Furthermore, it is a pivotal step in preparing them for future endeavors in the industrial sector.
