The effects of bullying can be devastating, leaving you feeling helpless, humiliated, angry, depressed, or even suicidal. And technology means that bullying is no longer limited to schools or street. Cyberbullying can occur anywhere, even at home, through smartphones, emails, texts, and social media. It can happen 24 hours a day, with potentially hundreds of people involved. But no type of bullying should ever be tolerated.
You should never be mean or hurtful to others no matter what, you don’t know if later on in life, you might need their help, or they might want revenge. Never underestimate anyone no matter what.
One of my teachers told me about how when he was a kid, someone in his school bullied someone else. The bully would emotionally and physically hurt this certain victim. Nobody helped at all and the situation just got bigger, and bigger, and bigger. So a few years later, the victim had enough...he came to school one day with a semi-automatic gun. He let his rage out and started shooting everyone he saw. Many students and teachers were badly injured and wounded. The principal of the school was also shot and killed. The victim (shooter) was finally caught and arrested after several gun shots.
That is an example of how bullying can ruin the victim’s life and maybe even the bully’s life. If you are in a situation where you are the bully, please stop and think about the outcome of this: ruining someone’s life for just a little laugh???
If you are in a situation where you are being bullied, talk to someone about it, and avoid the bully. Don’t be extremely angry because it’s not worth it and don't let your rage out in a bad way, because then it would turn back on you.
