I attend MANY conferences. Each time I do, I always look to extract at least one really meaningful piece of content, one NEW meaningful connection and if I am lucky, I get both. I haven't attended a Bullhorn event before, so this one was new to me. I got WAY more than both at this event. The content was real and relevant to our industry, the vibe was cool but at the same time wildly intellectual and focused. Here are a few really cool things I am walking away with, some of them seem like "no brainers," but in our crazy staffing world, we need a little kick in the shorts, a reminder that we need to embrace this very human industry we have chosen to immerse ourselves in:

I had the honor of speaking on a panel that covered Increasing Candidate Engagement in the Digital Age. We have a responsibility to leverage technology to make us more efficient, while also remembering we are in a human business - a balancing act for us all. To those of you who attended, I am glad to have "engaged" with you, for those that didn't - this is a must attend on your future conference "dance card!"
