Built for Big Ideas

What began as a candy distributor—think Dunder Mifflin, but with PEZ in place of paper—has been transformed into a warm, inviting space on Portland’s central east side. Partnering with Casey Keasler and the team at Casework, we reimagined the mid-century building step by step during the pandemic.

Our new studio is more than just a workspace—it’s a reflection of how we approach all the little details that make a big difference.

Designed with care and intention, it balances form and function, blending Danish and Japanese aesthetics with playful, personal details like custom signage by Jessica Hische and original artwork from our very own Yuki Yamada . Every corner tells a story, just like the work we create.?

With no formal in-office days, the studio hums at its own rhythm, but is never empty for long. There seems to be an unspoken pull that brings us together—a shared desire to collaborate, connect, or just catch up over a coffee.

The studio is also a gathering place beyond our team. Open Studios, game nights, and coworking opportunities have turned it into a hub for shared experiences. It’s a space where connections happen organically, where inspiration flows freely, and where a sense of belonging is built.?

Whether it’s sketching in a kitchen booth, unwinding in the lounge, or hosting an impromptu brainstorm, this studio is proof that physical spaces can be as dynamic and thoughtful as the ideas born within them.?
