Founded in 1972 Pontchartrain Mechanical over the years has become one of the largest and leading mechanical contractors serving Louisiana and the Gulf Coast. With crews working on some of the biggest construction projects along the Gulf Coast, Pontchartrain specializes in commercial and industrial structures and multi-family housing developments.

Pontchartrain has become a leader among mechanical contractors in the Gulf by developing a state-of-the-art pre-fabrication workflow that allows many of its systems to be pre-built at its Meterie shop.

We recently spent a day with Pontchartrain at their pre-fabrication shop in Meterie and on a large-scale residential structure in downtown New Orleans.
