We all strive to cut down on our "to do" list, which of course only grows longer as we add the tasks that were left incomplete from the previous day. Throw in all of the initial fires that need to put out before you've had your first cup of coffee, and a few difficult decisions that have to be made along with a couple of meetings, and the next thing you know it's nine o'clock in the morning! Yes your corporate life can be both immensely rewarding and challenging at the same time, but as a leader - that's where you thrive.
You've made a conscious effort to assemble a team around you that not only compliments one another, but encompasses all of the individual talents designed to address the tasks at hand, making your collective lives that much easier as a result. Each member of your team was a calculated decision based on the unique set of skills and experience that they brought to the table, offering you the confidence to embrace any challenge that may come your way.
Let's talk about decisions for a moment. Outside of fate, they mold the intimate world around us making our lives easier or more difficult through a self-inflicted process. Be advised that our insights and observations are usually not "mainstream".
