Initial Exploration Meeting

Our custom home-building process starts with an exploration meeting where we get to know you and your vision for your dream home. We want to hear about your needs, preferences, and any special features that you’d like to incorporate into your home. Our team will guide you through the entire process, ensuring that you get the home of your dreams.

Meet on Your Lot

We’ll visit your lot and discuss the home’s orientation to ensure that your home is positioned to maximize natural light and take advantage of the beautiful views in Central Texas. Our team has extensive knowledge of the local area and will work with you to design a home that fits your lot perfectly.

Call & Check References

We encourage you to speak with our current or past clients to hear about their experiences working with us. We also suggest visiting a lender to discuss finance options, as we want to ensure that you have a clear understanding of the financial aspects of building a custom home.

High-Low Estimate

Once you’re ready to move forward, the owner completes the House Plan Design Questionnaire, and we provide a high-low cost estimate. We’ll work with you to ensure that the estimate aligns with your budget.

Plan Creation & Professional Services Agreement Signed

When you’re ready to move forward, we require a deposit, and we begin working on your behalf and alongside the architect/designer during the preliminary house plan development process. We pride ourselves on being transparent and keeping our clients informed throughout the entire process.

Preliminary Home Plans

We’ll hold intake meetings with the architect/house plan designer and preview interior and exterior selections with our interior designer. Preliminary plans are completed and ready for an initial cost estimate.

Initial Contract Presented & Signed

Once the initial house plans, construction specifications, and allowances are signed, we require a deposit. We then begin interior and exterior selections with our interior designer.

House Plans Complete

When the final house plans are complete, we finalize interior and exterior selections with our interior designer. Construction specifications and allowances are updated, and final cost estimates are provided.

Final Contract Presented & Signed

When the final house plans, construction specifications, and allowances are signed, we require a deposit and sign the final contract price addendum. We submit the plans to the lender (if applicable) for engineering and ACC/HOA approval. We close on an interim construction loan and commence construction.

Preconstruction Meeting & Groundbreaking Celebration

We’ll hold a pre-construction meeting with the project manager, custom home specialist, and homeowners to review plans and specifications. We’ll then commence construction and pour the slab.

Finish Framing, Insulation, Low Voltage, and Drywall

During construction, we conduct quality assurance walk-throughs with the project manager and internal quality control inspections to ensure that your home is built to the highest standards.

Homeowner Orientation

When construction is complete, we’ll conduct a home orientation meeting with the homeowners. We provide a 10-year structure warranty, 2-year mechanical warranty, and 1-year fixture warranty.
