UNFCCC SB60 CLIMATE NEGOTIATIONS

Failure is not an option! UNFCCC Negotiators must act now on just and fair climate finance. A CIDSE delegation participated in the UNFCCC climate negotiations in Bonn from 3 to 13 June.

CALL TO NEWLY ELECTED EU REPRESENTATIVES

The EU must sustain its leadership in climate action! Concluding a meeting in Ghent held after the European Elections, CIDSE Directors urged the EU to maintain its leadership on climate action and to prioritise human development.

Tracking climate justice action

As part of the NDC Transparency Initiative project, the results of a new CIDSE study on the link between the ambition and implementation of the EU NDC and NECPs, examining their impact on national climate action and how this translates into local climate projects in Germany and France were presented during a webinar.

'Righting the economy'

ACT Alliance EU and CIDSE hosted the panel launch which explored some of the ideas presented in the book ‘Righting the Economy’, discussing the concept of rights-based economy (RBE) and how governments must commit to human rights in macroeconomic policies.
