From the Archives
This week’s archive piece celebrating Building's 180 year heritage is the introduction to an extremely lengthy summary of the runners and riders in the competition to design the new Manchester Town Hall.?The whole piece is about 10,000 words, perhaps a little long for a modern trade publication to publish. But this excerpt gives an impression of the exceptional quality of the submitted proposals. Another worthwhile read from Tom Lowe .
