Introduction

The first time I heard the saying, "People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care." it impacted me deeply. So much so that this saying has been a guiding principle in my career, especially as we navigate the uncharted waters of an AI-driven future.

Many of the teams and organisations I work with have been hesitant about integrating AI into the way they (or we) work. Fear of the unknown can be overwhelming. Instead of enforcing change, I choose to listen—to understand concerns and aspirations. In so doing, I hope to transform apprehension into excitement.

My Leadership Philosophy

To me, leadership is less about directing from the front and more about guiding alongside. I have a clear vision of a future enhanced by personal AI assistants. I saw that future well over a decade ago, and it has become more well-defined over time. I strive to inspire others to share that vision. Empathy is the bridge that connects us, fostering an environment where ideas flow freely and creativity thrives.
