Strong networks are all about establishing key connections to champion issues. It’s about finding a crew that’s going to help you catalyse that good! When seeking out new contacts, answering the question 'What's in this for both of us?’ is key. Sussing out the person, their organisation, company, or group by doing a little digging online and/or asking lots of questions when you meet up face to face, is important.
Listen hard, as this is the real gold and will help cement that early stage of connection. When the shared?value?is clear,?you can work on supporting each other with insights, impact, and opportunities you both may have to offer. Sometimes the greatest value you have as a community maker is the local relationships you build and the close proximity to the community your work creates. Don’t forget that!?
