Building on qualification for Northern Ireland
Work began on the redevelopment of the National Football Stadium for N. Ireland at Windsor Park, Belfast, in May last year. The stadium will have a capacity of over 18,000 seats and will include leisure and conference facilities, as well as providing new HQ for the Irish FA.
Jim McCullagh, Area Sales Manager for Northern Ireland, had worked previously with O’Hare and McGovern, so they were well aware of Fosroc’s proven track record in providing construction solutions and our ability to supply a complete product package.
Jim provided the design team with Fosroc specification including a complete waterproofing package including Proofex Engage, which was incorporated in the tender documents. Products from across the range have also been supplied including: concrete repairs, admixtures (Conplast WP402), coatings, grouts, sealants, fireproofing, geotextiles.
The new stadium which is due for completion early next year, will add a further boost to the N. Irish football team following their successful Euro 2016 qualification.
