Building in Public Part 2: Sydney Startup March Madness Event on March 22

A few weeks ago I LinkedIn posted the idea of "building in public" to launch a start basketball event in Sydney this March. You can read that post here.

Since that post, I’ve had 5 individuals and 3 organizations reach out to help get this event off the ground. And most of these amazing new conspirators are new to me! :) The power of building in public!

So we're at the point where we’ve opened up a registration form to confirm the amount of interest in playing, watching, and mingling so we can firm up logistics.?

Here's the proposed day's timing:

DAY’S DETAILS:

???8am to 11am - 3 vs. 3 half court basketball tournament?

???11:30am to 1pm - March Madness viewing party - Optional?

???1pm to 3pm -?Startup?& Investor mixer. Still in planning phase - may be sports related?startups?and athlete investors or open - Optional?

Asks of you:

• We have two or three organizations who are helping sponsor parts of the event, including one?covering court costs. We’re certainly open to many more partners who may?want help sponsor some of the work or costs.?Picture of current team up top. :)
