?? Building in Public: Day Zero

I’ve been procrastinating on this post for weeks. Not because I don’t want to build in public — but because building itself has been… a lot.
Jreka is something I deeply believe in — a platform where people can gift unforgettable experiences instead of just material things. But in the middle of trying to build it, life (and business) had other plans.
In the last few months:
?? We had to shut down our Surat outlet. It wasn’t just a business decision—it was a heartbreak. Watching something you built with love close its doors is painful. It feels like failure, even when you know it’s the right move.
??? We shifted our Bangalore outlet from Jayanagar to Indiranagar. And honestly, this one feels surreal. When I was new to Bangalore, I used to look at Indiranagar and think, “One day, we’ll be here.” And now? We’re here. A bigger, better, more prime location. A dream when I started — now a reality.
?? Between all this, I kept putting off starting Jreka. Not because I didn’t want to, but because my brain kept saying: “Finish one thing first. Get things stable.” But the truth is, there’s never a “perfect time.”
So, here I am. Finally taking the first step. Jreka is happening. It’s messy. It’s exciting. And I want to build it in public — sharing the good, the bad, and the "what the hell am I doing" moments.
