Building muscle memory with PM Riddle

Welcome to a the second edition of The Productology Newsletter. The purpose of this newsletter is to amplify my top 5 product management and engineering gems published on LinkedIn from the past week. Hope these inspire you just as much as it inspired me. Here's the past week for you:

#5 - Fabian's Framework

This short Product Management framework by Fabian Williams covers most aspects for a PM's business as usual. I like the simplicity and in the vast world of product management maybe just taking care of this small list will sail many through their PM journeys.

#4 - Simplicity as the ultimate sophistication

This post by Sanjay MN breaks the common myth of hardware development being slow and expensive. Maximising simplicity allows them to prototype rapidly and outperform bigger R&D budgets.

#3 - Falling in love with the problem

Contrary to popular beliefs, a Product Manager's job hardly ever is to find the solution. It is however necessary to orchestrate understanding the problem better; the solution can come from anyone. Alpesh Pawar reiterates it in his post and I couldn't agree more.

#2 - Facts Tell, Stories Sell

May not be directly related to Product Management but true none the less. No good (or bad) product would ever have a customer if not for marketing. Storytelling is great marketing and a necessary marketing; people don't buy products, they buy stories of what the product did, and Shashank Kapoor makes it clear in this post.

#1 - Building muscle memory with PM Riddle

Being true to ourselves, not every Product Manager gets to work on world changing products. And many who do get that opportunity fall flat on their faces due to lack of skills, voiding the world of a great product. So if you do want to be sharp at your skills so you flourish when the right opportunity comes your way, Shaik Khader may have the answer for you.

That's it for this week, see you next week with a new Productology edition. Cheers!

P.S.: The last one is not a paid promotion but a necessary promotion ??
