When launching a new SaaS product or platform, many entrepreneurs think they must do everything independently. They believe that they should spend their marketing budget attracting leads and trying to convert them into customers without seeking the help of others. However, this approach can be very limiting, and it is only sometimes the most effective strategy.
Seek partners who serve a similar type of customers but don't compete with you
One way to leverage somebody else's audience and gain more exposure is to find distribution partners who serve a similar customer or market but are not direct competitors. These potential partners can promote your special deal or presale deal to their audience, which can help you reach a broader range of customers without spending more on marketing.
While it may take some persistence and effort to find these distribution partners, creating an affiliate program where partners can earn a percentage of sales that result from their audience can be an effective incentive. However, not all potential partners will be interested in enrolling in your program, so it's important to remember that not everyone will promote your deal. Still, building an extensive list of potential partners who are ready, willing, and able to promote your special offer can help increase your chances of success.
Get someone to book the appointments for you and show up on these calls
As a startup founder, you must recognize that you can't do everything alone. Your time is limited, and you need to prioritize your work effectively.
This is especially true when building a list of potential distribution partners. Outsourcing some work, such as list building and pre-screening potential partners, can be a smart move. Platforms like Fiverr or Freelancer can be great resources for finding a virtual assistant to help you with this.
It would be best never to outsource the negotiation or deal-making with potential partners at the initial stage. Showing up directly to these appointments and discussing the deal with potential partners will allow you to learn more about what they are looking for and how to win their positive attitude towards you. Once you have signed up a few partnerships and see they are ready to promote your product, you can start outsourcing the negotiation stage to someone else.
It's also essential to remember that not all potential partnerships will be fruitful, and more than 80% of distribution partnerships never result in any meaningful results. So, it's crucial to focus on building the most extensive list possible of potential partners and on making those partners as qualified and motivated as possible.
Establish the giveaway prize so that your partner promotes it as a gift for his audience
There are many creative ways to promote your SaaS product and grow your customer base. One strategy to consider is offering a lifetime deal as a bonus to someone else's audience. This can be an effective way to reach a targeted audience already interested in your niche or industry.
However, it is crucial to consider the potential downsides of offering such a deal. While it may attract attention and lead to signups, it could also attract freebie hunters who are not interested in purchasing your product. That's why partnering with someone with a similar audience can be beneficial - they can help promote your deal to a more targeted group.
By offering your product or software as a prize, you can create excitement and buzz around your brand. Even if you are starting, this can help establish your brand as a player in the industry. Plus, the value of the prize itself can help attract attention and generate interest in your product.
It's important to remember that in exchange for offering the prize, you are asking for exposure and visibility of your brand. This can be a win-win situation for both parties involved. Establish clear terms and expectations for the partnership and prize, so everyone understands the arrangement.

Check lifetime deals on AppSumo for potential co-marketing partnerships
Another strategy to consider when promoting your SaaS lifetime deal is reaching out to potential co-marketing partners with complementary products or services. By collaborating with other businesses, you can leverage their existing customer base and tap into new markets you may have yet to reach.
You can establish a mutually beneficial marketing partnership by identifying which software products are complementary to your own and reaching out to those companies directly. This can help you expand your customer base and increase your brand visibility.
To get started, you can browse through the current and finished deals on AppSumo and make a list of software that is relevant to your own. From there, you can approach the founders of those companies with a proposal for a partnership and a co-marketing campaign. By collaborating with multiple partners, you can pool your resources and create a more impactful marketing campaign, reaching a wider audience and driving more traffic to your landing page.
For example, if you have a budget of $1,000 for Facebook ads, you could reach out to three partners who target a similar audience and are willing to contribute to the campaign with an equal amount of $1,000 each. By pooling resources, you would have a total budget of $4,000, which can help you to create a more comprehensive and effective campaign that reaches more potential customers.
