Building a Knowledge Ecosystem: Why I Joined Lynk as Global Head of Strategic Partnerships

I am thrilled to share that I’ve joined Lynk as Global Head of Strategic Partnerships.
When I look back at my 17 years in the information services space, most recently serving as the Managing Director and Head of Asia Pacific at GLG, I never considered joining another expert and knowledge platform.?
That quickly changed when I was introduced to Peggy and Lynk.
The traditional information services space is a crowded market and many of these companies haven’t found a way to make finding experts scalable. With almost every industry – from healthcare to finance – relying on expertise for go-to-market strategies, product feedback, customer research, and more, access to credible expertise is necessary to stay ahead of the curve.?
However, the business model at traditional information services companies is not optimized for aggregating and providing expert knowledge at scale. They're typically service-driven solutions that lead to email chaos for customers and aren’t as cost-efficient. I had not seen any other expert and knowledge-sharing platform harness technology to disrupt the space until I was introduced to Lynk.?
I had no plans on staying in this space until I spoke with our CEO and founder, Peggy Choi. Our conversation was enlightening and made me realize that Lynk’s technology-driven approach and innovation within this space presented a new opportunity to change how information is exchanged on a global scale.?

Peggy’s vision is what drew me to Lynk.? I was also excited by their alliance with UBS and how I could play a role in future developments of that nature within the company. Their work with one of the leading global wealth managers played a key role in solidifying my decision to join the company.?
Joining the team as the Global Head of Strategic Partnerships is exciting as I am inspired to execute on the company’s vision of powering the new knowledge economy. As a disruptor in the space, Lynk continues to expand its offering and global reach through strategic collaborations with leaders in various industries, such as our global alliance with UBS.
I’m looking forward to using my combined experience as a business leader and an investor to continue Lynk’s momentum with future strategic partnerships that will propel us towards our goal of building the world’s knowledge network.?
