Building a Gratifying Future

The present crisis has affected the global market with one of the severe recession and millions of individuals have become unemployed. We all have reduced our consumption of materialistic goods, which resulted in less economic activities and thus fewer jobs. Just having a job in today’s economic scenario is so much satisfying, and further doing something meaningful is so much further fulfilment too.
We all should spend any part of the time doing work on which we will be proud later in life. This looks to be advice for someone not living in the real work with grown-up family responsibilities. However, engaging in gratifying work do not require to head off to pilgrimage but requires consistent and focussed progress towards goals. A consistent approach with available time and energy in a meaningful and productive way always results in a brilliant outcome.
The great problems of the World, we all are facing today, can’t be solved by just doing the work with partial capacity. We can do our share of contribution by fulfilling our responsibilities by working in a more meaningful way with deeper aptitudes to make it more valuable for society. We all need to increase creativity and productivity in this new normal scenario.
There is always a difference between a just job done and feeling proud of the job done. Every small effort to grow skills and contribute to social matters and every extra mile when exhausted matters. All empty spaces of life should be filled with purposeful activities and meaningful progress. Clear purpose drives the ability to do meaningful work and bring effectiveness and improve efficiency, whereas uncertainty disrupts progress.
Work is the reinforcement of the sense of belongingness. Work always derives some value and a sense of purpose in life. We learn, acquire new skills, enhance knowledge, cultivate curiosity and develop better understanding while doing work. Planning objectives and setting priorities is “work before work”, which helps focus, time and energy at the right place for the purposeful outcome. A feeling of contentment at work only comes when the work has some meaning & purpose and it contributes, creates value and brings difference and positive effect on our Society.

4 年I completely agree with your thought sir . Very well articulated. Work should be always efficiently done and that will be possible only when you enjoy your work and don’t feel coerce . Like said , Nature is not concerned with fairness , it’s only interested in efficiency!
