Given the incoming EU regulations regarding sustainability and pre-demolition audits, we embarked on an interesting project.
We scanned an abandoned building in Zenta Bay, Split, Croatia using Metaroom by Amrax?
??The goal? To create a BIM model of the building for a pre-demolition audit.
??Why? To see if there's a quick and straightforward way to obtain a digital model.
A model that's useful not just for a digital archive but also can serve for extracting floor plans or calculating material quantities.
