Building a F.I.R.E Tool Using Claude (FREE)

Claude is great for building those simple, super-useful “tool” apps.

You know, the kind with a few text fields for inputs, a bit of behind-the-scenes math or business logic (like linear algebra or basic calculations), and some straightforward charts or graphs to display the results.

It’s the app that gets right to the point without extra fuss, making it ideal for tasks where you just want quick, clear answers.

As a smart person, I'd ask GPT for the prompts and use them to train Claude. A bit sneaky, but hey, why not?

The next step is to throw this prompt into Claude (free version) and see what it comes up with.

Umm noice. We have a basic calculator with a single prompt.

Try the calculator

This is THE v0 of the tool, and you can see that, with a few more prompts, it could turn into a WOW tool. Too bad I’ll need to buy more credits for it!
