In this week's newsletter we want to share what we’ve been working on as we hear your feedback and plan for the future of Audio Events on LinkedIn. First and foremost, for our beta hosts and early-adopting event attendees, we are blown away by your enthusiasm, suggestions, ideas, and feedback. We want you to know that we hear you (no Audio pun intended), and most importantly we are listening – our roadmap to improve Audio Events is entirely based on your feedback!?
What’s working well with Audio Events on LinkedIn?
- The audience is staying engaged?
- Reactions are well loved?
- Attendees are participating and conversations feel authentic!??
- Creators are hosting weekly, recurring events!?
?What are we focused on right now??
- Critical bug fixes: We’re working on a more reliable, smooth, bug-free experience for hosts and participants. Discovering those hard-to-catch bugs is key to a beta phase, and we’re prioritizing fixes for issues uncovered in the process. We’re on it.
- Increasing attendance: We’ve made several notification fixes to ensure that your followers are looped in when you are hosting an event. Most recently, we updated attendee emails so they are captivating, in both their design and copy, with the goal to drive more attendees to your event.?
- Making Audio Events more accessible: Accessibility is incredibly important, and we are launching captions soon! We’ve been testing this internally and can’t wait to launch this valuable feature in the coming weeks.
- Resources for hosts: We’ve heard that hosts need clear, tactical education and best practice tools. We are creating materials to ensure you feel well prepared and have the confidence to host a successful Audio Event.?
What are we excited about for the future??
We are so appreciative of all the great feedback you have shared with us, and love all your feature requests to make Audio Events better! We are actively considering all ideas, but particularly excited about investing further in these:?
- Co-Hosting: We’ve heard it can be a challenge to multitask hosting duties, so we are investing in ways to support co-hosting capabilities.?
- Recording: We have also heard that hosts and attendees alike want the option for events to be recorded. We understand this is useful for a variety of purposes, from allowing others to listen on-demand, to filming live podcasts, to re-purposing sound clips for new content forms. (Until we ship our product, do you have a favorite recording tool? Let us know in the comments!)
- Discovery: Step by step you will see more entry points across LinkedIn with more ways for your Events to be discovered! ?
- Invitations:: We want you to be able to easily invite attendees, for example, invite attendees who attended your past events.
The team has been hard at work and we are not only listening to your feedback, but we are taking actions to ensure our roadmap is Creator first! We hope you find these insights helpful and, and we’re looking forward to your next Audio Event!?

2 年I can't wait to add the LinkedIn Audio function to my profile. LinkedIn live broadcast was a rollercoaster that allowed content creators like us to come to the fore and share our journey and knowledge. I hope LinkedIn will soon make the Audio function available to active content creators, and that we will be able to provide our feedback on the tool as well. Thanks for sharing the event list Christian Byza In fact, I am speaking at one of the LinkedIn Audio live event 5+ Hidden Treasures For Job Seekers On LinkedIn, Wed, Mar 16, 2022, 8:30 AM PST.
