From humble beginnings around a kitchen table 5.5 years ago, Join Talent has embarked on an extraordinary journey as a privately owned bootstrapped start-up.
Since then, our incredible ‘team JT’ have shattered barriers, exceeded expectations on all fronts, and even created some huge waves on growth rankings and business excellence awards - including becoming the first ever female led business to achieve the number 1 spot in UK growth rankings .
As Join Talent has evolved, so too has the complexity of our client's needs and hence our own organizational complexity. We've also expanded our footprint across the globe, establishing subsidiary companies in the US, South Africa, India, and, most recently, Hong Kong.
Amidst our focus on client excellence and expansion, one thing however remains constant: our astonishingly amazing team.
As we grow it has been exciting to see that team grow, and a part of that has also been the evolution of our leadership team and governance structure.
Today we are excited to announce that we are formally moving to a global Group governance structure.
Following extensive depth and breadth of search for the right people to join us on the exciting JT journey we have expanded our Executive Leadership team, put in place our first Non-Executive Director appointment, and put in place also the first members of our new US Advisory Board

?We are delighted to welcome Nick Greenston to the team into the role of Chief Commercial Officer. ?Nick has enjoyed a successful career in the recruitment industry over the last 24 years.
His unique blend of experience includes managing global client relationships, large multi-regional teams, creating embedded and RPO propositions on a go to market basis, and building shared service capability. He has worked extensively across multiple sectors and industries on a global basis.
Nick has a proven track record in taking embedded and RPO products and services from conception right through to execution and delivery, and in JT will be focussed on heading up our community engagement team, leading our growth team and spear-heading our sectoral expansion roadmap.

In our first Non-Executive director appointment we welcome Richard Betts , CEO & Founder of Viszt?Technology.? With over 20 years' experience as a successful serial entrepreneur, business leader and IT expert, Richard brings a wealth of knowledge and actionable advice from real life scenarios from a whole range of customers and also the full life-cycle of corporate governance for fast growth scale-ups.? Richard first met Join Talent via the Sunday Times 100 community when both his company and Join Talent were featured in the 2023 fastest growth list.

As we continue our focus into the US market, but also more broadly looking at bringing further perspectives into our thinking, we are very pleased to welcome two US Board Advisors with both fantastic experience and also very different expertise to our existing leadership team members.

Shawna Young, MBA is the CEO of Camelback Ventures as well as co-founder of Mosaiq and Forward Impact Academy, two organizations focused on democratizing access to advanced learning opportunities and high-quality college and career guidance for young people from diverse communities. Shawna also co-founded the Onyx Black Wealth Collective and the Black Computer Science Network. She holds degrees from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Howard Company and the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.
Shawna has focused her work on advancing equitable access to education, business, nonprofit leadership and STEM fields. Join Talent have for some time been supporting some of Shawna’s not for profit work with ADA Academy, and now Shawna joins as an advisor to support how we shape our inclusion efforts and strategies with clients not just in the US but also globally.

Samar Birwadker is a seasoned San Francisco based entrepreneur, having done a successful exit from his first start up – assessment platform Good & Co – he has 15+ years of building tech companies, raising growth capital and building world-beating teams and is currently in stealth mode on his newest venture! Samar has been a supporter of JT from day one as Good & Co's san Francisco based team were Join Talent's first ever client in December 2018! ?
Samar is well networked in the San Francisco founder space, and has a keen understanding of ‘what works’ for the West Coast ear when it comes to articulating and delivering a market leading proposition.
