Building Dreams: Founding Drop-In Gaming

When I co-founded Drop-In Gaming, I envisioned creating a platform that would connect gamers and foster competition in a way that felt effortless and engaging. I had no idea how deeply the experience of building this company would shape me—not just as a professional, but as a person.

Over the last four years, I’ve poured my heart into this start-up. Alongside my co-founder Tanner Bogart, a brilliant technical expert who helped architect our vision, and a small but dedicated team, we’ve tackled enormous challenges. We’ve navigated a rapidly changing gaming industry, completed a full beta phase, and upgraded our technology to position Drop-In Gaming for a successful public launch.

But this journey wasn’t without its hurdles.

The Challenges of Entrepreneurship

Launching a start-up isn’t glamorous. It’s late nights, tough decisions, and, often, a steep uphill climb. One of our biggest struggles has been securing funding in a competitive market. Investors are cautious, and convincing them to see the same potential we see has required not just persistence but creativity.

The gaming industry is fast-paced and crowded. Competing with well-funded players means you have to be nimble, think differently, and sometimes take risks others won’t. For us, the turning point has been leveraging AI to differentiate ourselves. It’s a game-changer, both literally and figuratively, and we’ve woven it throughout our roadmap to ensure we’re not just following trends—we’re setting them.

Successes Worth Celebrating

Despite the hurdles, there have been wins worth savoring. We’ve seen interest from companies who want to partner, merge with, or even acquire Drop-In Gaming, which is validation of the vision we’ve built. Strategic advisors have helped guide us, connecting us with key relationships that have opened new doors.

Beyond the business milestones, the personal growth has been immense. I’ve learned the value of resilience, the importance of building the right team, and the undeniable power of believing in what you sell.

The Road Ahead

We’re currently in a seed funding round, aiming to scale beyond our competitors. With a platform that’s ready for full public launch and a clear growth strategy, we’re excited about what’s next.

But as I reflect, I’m also thinking about the lessons I can share with others. If you’re an aspiring entrepreneur or a gamer wondering how to turn your passion into a career, know this: success doesn’t happen overnight. It’s built on small, consistent actions and the willingness to keep going when things get tough.

How You Can Help

We’re looking for investors and partners who want to be part of the future of gaming. If you believe in the power of building communities and fostering innovation, let’s talk.

In the meantime, I’d love to hear from you: What lessons have you learned from your entrepreneurial journey or career? Let’s keep the conversation going.
