Building a Community of Tactical and Technical Excellence Motto: "Where Operations Meet Academia: Together, We Achieve Excellence."
Global CT Institute / GCTI
GCTI has Two Missions. The Non-Profit Career School & Foundation and The For-Profit Curriculumn Development Company.
Building a Community of Tactical and Technical Excellence
Motto: "Where Operations Meet Academia: Together, We Achieve Excellence."
At the Paris Graduate School-Innovative Knowledge Institute (PGS-IKI) and the Global Counter-Terrorism Institute (GCTI), we are dedicated to fostering a vibrant, non-partisan community that excels in tactical and technical proficiency. We believe that true excellence transcends mere knowledge by integrating practical operations with academic rigor. Our community thrives on the collaborative efforts of students, educators, and professionals who bring diverse experiences and insights to the table. Through dedication and relentless effort, we cultivate an environment where theories are not just learned but applied, and operational challenges are met with scholarly solutions (Van de Walle, 2020).
Commitment to Quality Over Quantity
We are committed to the idea that "the easier, softer way is not always the best." True mastery requires hard work, perseverance, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. By attracting students who are passionate and dedicated, we ensure that our programs remain focused on delivering high-quality education. This approach minimizes unnecessary competition, allowing us to concentrate on nurturing talent and fostering growth (Duckworth, 2016).
Balancing Instant Gratification and Long-Term Experience
In today’s fast-paced world, the allure of instant gratification is ever-present. However, we emphasize the importance of patience and sustained effort. Achieving tactical and technical proficiency takes time and persistence. By manifesting abundance and practicing gratitude, our community members stay motivated and resilient, focusing on long-term success rather than short-term gains (Emmons & Stern, 2019).
Creating Value That Attracts the Right Students
Our specialized curriculum, designed with input from industry experts, ensures that our graduates are well-prepared to meet the demands of their chosen fields. We value our experienced faculty, who are leaders in their areas of expertise, and provide them with the support they need to deliver exceptional education (Ramsden, 2013). By offering practical, real-world applications of theoretical knowledge, we help students gain hands-on experience that sets them apart in the job market (Kolb, 2014).
A Supportive and Inclusive Environment
We foster a strong sense of community among our students and alumni. Our support services are tailored to ensure that every student has the resources they need to succeed, from academic advising to career counseling. We believe that a college with high graduation rates and prestigious rankings does not necessarily equate to value. Instead, we focus on creating an environment where each member feels valued and supported, contributing to a culture of mutual benefit and shared success (Tinto, 2016).
Challenging the Status Quo
We challenge the notion that prestige equates to quality. Our commitment to specialized, high-value programs provides an alternative to costly, generalized programs offered by traditional Ivy League institutions. By focusing on niche areas, we reduce market saturation and make our graduates more competitive (Porter, 2021).
Addressing Market Saturation and Resource Scarcity
Our focus on niche areas reduces market saturation, making our programs more desirable and our graduates more competitive. We recognize that scarcity of resources extends beyond financial constraints to include time and talent. By valuing our educators and providing them with the support they need, we ensure that they deliver the highest quality education. This mutual benefit enhances both faculty satisfaction and student success (Christensen et al., 2020).
Integrating the Immutable Laws of Counter-Terrorism with Business
Our innovative strategy draws inspiration from the 25 Immutable Laws of Counter-Terrorism, integrating key principles that align with both counter-terrorism and business excellence. Here, we highlight several of these laws to illustrate their relevance and application:
Collaboration, Trust, and Transparency
We believe in the power of collaboration, trust, and transparency. By working together with the right mindset, we build strong, lasting relationships based on mutual respect and shared goals. Our agenda is transparent, ensuring that all stakeholders understand our objectives and can contribute to our mission.
