I know many of you will relate to this! As someone who has been there, I know firsthand how difficult it can be to balance your day job with your entrepreneurial dreams. But, with the right time management strategies, it's possible.
So, let's dive into 5 time management tips that have helped me and many others succeed as side hustlers. But first, subscribe to New Founder school Youtube Channel where I share weekly FREE lessons on entrepreneurship and business growth. Alright, let's get started!
Tip #1: Set Goals and Prioritize
The first step to effectively managing your time as a side hustler is to set clear goals and priorities. You must decide what you want to achieve with your business and what tasks or activities are most important to reaching those goals. This will help you to avoid getting distracted by less important tasks and to focus on the ones that will make the biggest impact.
For example, if your goal is to launch a new product in three months, your priority should be developing and testing that product, not spending hours tweaking your website design.
Tip #2: Create a Schedule
The second tip is to create a schedule that works for you. This may mean waking up early to work on your business before your day job or finding pockets of time during your lunch break or in the evenings. Whatever schedule you choose, make sure that it's realistic and that you stick to it as much as possible.
For instance, if you're a morning person, you might wake up an hour earlier each day to work on your business before heading to your day job. Or, you could use your lunch break to tackle small tasks that don't require a lot of concentration.
Tip #3: Be Efficient
When you have limited time to work on your business, efficiency is critical. Use tools and technologies to help you work more quickly and effectively, like project management tools like Trello or Asana or social media scheduling tools like Hootsuite or Buffer.
Additionally, you might consider automating certain tasks or delegating to others. For instance, you could hire a virtual assistant or freelancer to help with certain tasks like social media management or customer support.
Tip #4: Take Care of Yourself
Building a business while working full-time can be exhausting, so taking care of yourself is essential. This means getting enough sleep, eating well, managing stress, and avoiding burnout. When you're well-rested and energized, you'll be more productive and focused, and better able to balance the demands of your day job and your side hustle.

Tip #5: Get Support
Finally, don't hesitate to ask for help or support when needed. Building a support network can help you to stay motivated, accountable, and on track with your goals. This might involve seeking mentorship or advice from others with industry experience or hiring a virtual assistant or freelancer to help with specific tasks.
Remember, building a business while working full-time is a journey. It takes time, patience, and a lot of hard work. But with the right time management strategies, it's possible.
