Empowering Education through AI

We see AI not just as a tech tool but also as a game-changer in education. Recently, our AI Team Lead, Yasen Kiprov, visited one of Sofia's high schools to give an inspiring talk to a class of 7th graders. The kids learned how they can embrace AI to enhance their learning and prepare for future careers. Why did we visit the high school? It's all part of a bigger story… ??

It all started in 2022, when we decided to support the "Model Schools" program, initiated by the Заедно в час / Teach For Bulgaria foundation. We’ve invested 150,000 EUR in the program over the past three years. As a result, it has empowered educators in over 100 schools, impacting the lives of more than 44,000 students. And the high school Yasen visited? It’s one of these 100 “Model Schools” participating in the program.

But our commitment to education doesn't stop there. We're also supporting the INSAIT - Institute for Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Technology , located in Sofia, Bulgaria, which is the first world-class AI research facility in Eastern Europe.? We've pledged up to 6 Million EUR over the course of five years to support the salaries of top-tier scientists who are training the next wave of Bulgarian AI experts at the institute.
