Building Bridges, Finding Mojo: My Journey Through Executive Networking
Networking is often cited as one of the most powerful tools for career growth, yet its true impact is only realized when we actively engage in meaningful connections. This realization struck me over the past weekend, and I felt compelled to share my experience in hopes of inspiring others to harness the power of executive networking.
A Memorable Conversation
On Sunday, 24th November, my current boss, Sandeep Mahagaonkar , had the opportunity to meet two esteemed industry leaders, Pinkesh Shah and SaiSatish Vedam , through the platform offered by Institute of Product Leadership and Product Leaders Forum . The conversation between them was not only insightful for him but also proved to be a meaningful moment for me.
What stood out to me was how this interaction brought attention to the work I’ve been doing and my journey toward transitioning into Product Management and Leadership roles. While moments like these may seem small, they hold immense value. They remind us that our efforts are seen, our growth is acknowledged, and our aspirations are valid.
This interaction reinforced my belief that networking is not just about exchanging business cards or attending events, rather it’s about fostering genuine relationships that can guide, inspire, and sometimes even open doors you didn’t know existed.
The Power of Executive Networking
Networking, especially at the executive level, is not just a tool for career growth but a catalyst for personal and professional transformation. Here are three key ways it has shaped my journey:
Finding My Mojo Through Institute of Product Leadership
Enrolling in IPL was one of the best decisions I made for my career. It not only equipped me with the tools and frameworks needed to navigate the complexities of Product Management but also provided me with a community that fosters growth.

Through IPL, I’ve rediscovered my mojo—the spark that drives me to push boundaries, take on new challenges, and create meaningful impact. And the best part? I’ve realized that this journey isn’t just mine. It’s shared with a network of incredible individuals who are equally passionate about their growth and the growth of others.
My Call to Action for Aspiring Product Leaders
If you’re transitioning into Product Leadership or simply looking to elevate your career, I have one piece of advice: Invest in building meaningful connections.
Remember, networking isn’t about what you can take—it’s about what you can give and how you can grow together.
To Pinkesh Shah , SaiSatish Vedam , and the entire Institute of Product Leadership and Product Leaders Forum community: thank you for creating a space where leaders are made and personal brands are built. Your work continues to inspire me and countless others to reach new heights.
To my peers: never underestimate the power of your network. Leverage it to not just build your career but to also rediscover your mojo.
