SMART CITIES?
The European Parliament has passed a historic resolution calling for the European Commission to develop a European cycling strategy with the aim of doubling the number of kilometres cycled in Europe by 2030. This historic political declaration by the Parliament is a key boost to cycling in Europe!

FINANCE
Like war bonds during WWI and WWII, Green Liberty Bonds are easy to buy and?divvied?up in small amounts.
PROPTECH
With a possible recession looming, the future of the multifamily property industry may appear uncertain. But if past performance is any indication, the future is brighter than you might think. Owners and operators will inevitably need to implement cost-cutting measures to survive. However, a recession presents a unique opportunity that, if seized, can help businesses secure long-term growth and sustained profitability.

AFFORDABLE HOUSING
English startup equiwatt has secured new government backing to scale to develop its energy-usage reduction tech. The GreenTech startup, which has created a free app for users, is now planning to scale, helping make the UK more energy efficient.
?
SMART TECH
Tomorrow's energy-efficient and climate-friendly buildings and urban districts must be planned and built today. In Germany, for example, building in line with climate targets means reducing the demand for primary energy in buildings by 80 percent by 2050. For this to succeed, buildings must be planned and, above all, operated in a smarter way than before. To achieve this, the construction industry can draw on the full potential of digitalization, with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and digital twins playing a central role.
?
TIMBER
Bywater Properties and Sumitomo Forestry Co, Ltd., a global, end-to-end timber construction specialist, have signed a definitive agreement to create a new business venture, focused on driving the adoption of low carbon property development and refurbishment across Europe.
