?? Spinach is GDPR compliant

We're proud to announce that Spinach is now GDPR compliant (as well as SOC 2 Type 2 compliant). Privacy is a hot topic this week, considering Biden's Executive Order on Artificial Intelligence. Will this impact tools like Spinach? Yes and no. While it shows good intent, this document reads more like a mission statement than a set of guidelines. Biden acknowledged this, calling on Congress to do the heavy lifting to regulate AI's impact in key areas like privacy, civil rights and workers rights. We'll keep you posted.?

?? The never-ending quality race??

How quickly we all integrate AI into our lives and workflows depends heavily on quality. Any generative AI tool that claims "we have quality figured out" has either quit the race too soon, or is full of hot air.

"When it comes to quality, no one has a silver bullet. You need to try different techniques and empirically measure tradeoffs" is how Jerry Liu, co-founder of LlamaIndex summarized it during his recent talk at AI Conference 2023.? In that spirit, here are the optimizations we've made in Spinach based on continuously testing outcomes and tradeoffs. And we're just getting started.
