Builders of Bridging #96: Julia Devonish

Julia backs my community building leadership through Patreon, “Because Linda Brandt is unstoppable. ”

Big picture: Julia Devonish, MD, PhD is a researcher at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, New York.

Passion: Julia is passionate about health and living life full out.

Awesomeness: Julia is genuine and mindful.

How we met: Julia and I met in 2002 as colleagues at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health. Here are three memories that capture our friendship: a super-fun NYC Halloween parade and marathon in 2003; when Julia walked back to finish the Grandma’s Marathon with me after completing the half marathon (thus, unofficially doing the whole marathon); and when Julia taught me how to dive into a pool in Calgary. Julia is my gold standard for friendship. I could not love her more.

Join Julia on the bridging team: As we close out 2017, why not boldly start the new year as a Builder of Bridging? Find out more here.
