Community Catalyst ?? || Igniting Change Through Facilitation & Strategy || Program Management Pro || Ambassador of Good Ideas
Teri McNamara says she backs my community building through Patreon because, “I appreciate the work you are doing to support people finding their way up and out, and to build connections between them. It aligns with my belief that we live in an abundant world, and we gain more from interdependence than separation and competition.”
Big picture: Teri McNamara started her career as a software engineer and eventually transitioned to designing, training and implementing peer coaching group programs as a partner at Authenticity Consulting, LLC. Teri has played Tai Chi since 2005 and has been a senior Tai Chi and Qigong support teacher at The Natural Step School of Tai Chi for several years now.
Passion: Teri and her husband Carter McNamara have seen the peer coaching work that they do through Authenticity Consulting and Action Learning Source leverage change in organizations and communities, empowering individuals. In addition, Authenticity Consulting provides capacity building and organization development, especially for nonprofits. The Free Management Library offers practical articles, links and resources for personal, professional and organizational development for free.
Awesomeness: Teri is awesome in how she shares Tai Chi.
How we met: This last December Teri and Carter gave the Lean In Together MSP Chapter the huge gift of training 20 peer coaching circle facilitators at no charge. It’s been icing on the cake to have a chance to learn from Teri’s leadership.

Please note, the Midwest Feminist Brain Trust and Lean In are part of my bridging work but the funding is of me personally rather than the Brain Trust or Lean In.
