Build Your Skills in Restorative Practices Online

Build Your Skills in Restorative Practices Online

As you are considering what the next school year will being, we invite you to apply for Loyola’s Online Certificate in School Discipline Reform. With its online delivery and emphasis on the use of restorative practices and relationship building between educators and students, this program will help build your skills to respond to students’ social and emotional needs in the current environment.

There is still time to apply for fall enrollment. This program comes with a special opportunity to participate in an immersion seminar that focuses on equity, anti-racism, and restorative practices. For fall semester, this program will take place online on August 1, 3, and 5, enabling you to start the K-12 school ready to lead online and in-person community building circles with staff and students.

We offer tuition scholarships for cohorts of two or more educators from Catholic schools with a commitment to implementing restorative practices.

The application and scholarship deadline is July 1. For more information on this certificate and to apply, visit LUC.edu/schooldiscipline. You are also encouraged to participate in our upcoming webinars about the program on: May 20 at 6 p.m. CST and June 17 at 6 p.m. CST.

Contact Prof. Miranda Johnson at mjohnson11@luc.edu or Prof. Pamela Fenning at pfennin@luc.edu with any questions.
