Build WNY 2023: A new stadium and nearly 1,000 other projects

The construction of the Buffalo Bills' new stadium will require thousands of construction workers over the next three years — and that's just one of several mega-projects happening in Western New York and across the state.

The stadium, an Amazon warehouse in Niagara Falls, two large industrial projects at Genesee County's STAMP site, the Great Lakes Cheese plant in Cattaraugus County and thousands of new apartments planned by the Buffalo Municipal Housing Authority will all compete for the region's limited construction workforce.

Plus, mega-projects are just one piece of the pie: Our annual Build Western New York publication brings you an in-depth look at nearly 1,000 projects of all sizes — finished, under construction and proposed — in one comprehensive package.

Reporter Jacob Tierney offers a fresh perspective to Buffalo's rapidly changing development landscape in a year that has been anything but normal.

Looks like the hole the Bills and Sabres will always be stuck in . Don't forget the $1 billion dollar tunnel on 8/10 of a mile on the Kensington which locals in the area do not even want.
