Build Sales Momentum Moving into 2025

In case you haven’t looked at your calendar recently, there are under 12 weeks remaining in 2024.

Depending on how your year has been, that may be welcomed news or cause you anxiety.

Whether it’s the former or the latter, it’s time to set your plans for 2025.

To be clear, I’m not taking about setting revenue targets or number of deals to close. What I’m referring to is your plan to build momentum in the coming year.

Let’s be honest, sales can be a grind. Focusing on repeating what you did this year, or even increasing your targets as compared to this year, isn’t very exciting.

What is exciting is figuring out what went well this year and how you can double down on it for next year.

This is the secret to building momentum.

Did you find an email script that led to more responses from cold prospects?

Were in-person meetings more effective at building trust and generating deals faster?

Did you introduce an assumptive close that led to more deals closed without negotiations?

It’s these little wins that are the secret to creating even more success for yourself in 2025.

And rather than wait until January to figure these out, take stock of them now.

Then ask yourself, “How can I integrate these “Momentum Makers” into my routines starting today?”

Wait, what?!

That’s right.

Momentum takes time to build, so if you want to have momentum in 2025, then you need to start now (and hence why I’m sharing this strategy with you now!).

Being intentional about using your Momentum Makers, and getting started now, will result in momentum moving into 2025.

Now that’s something to get excited about!

Heck, you might even exceed your targets for 2024.Exciting, right?
