First of all, #buildingrelationships is essential to #communicateeffectively because people must be able to #trust you, and in a professional environment, clients (internal or external) need to rely on you as an expert. If a strong relationship is developed, people are more likely to engage with you and introduce you to others. Thus, a solid and trustworthy communication foundation is the backbone of any successful relationship that will result in a long-lasting relationship.?
But how can we develop a good communication? Sharing thoughts honestly and showing #empathy and #vulnerability can be a start. Besides, being a #goodlistener (this means no interruption or judgment) is also another way to communicate and build strong connections, which will help to cultivate a positive environment when we need to manage and resolve conflicts.
Building a relationship can be challenging sometimes, but it helps #collaboration within the work environment and increases productivity when trust and respect are present. Moreover, remaining #opentolistening and asking questions will also help to build productive teams.

However, if you master #communicationskills, you can become a great communicator, and great communicators are usually the ones who bring solutions, drive changes, lead, motivate, and inspire people.
Building meaningful relationships will benefit you because it improves your mental health, provides higher self-confidence, broads your perspectives, and increases resilience. If building relationship is so important, how can we develop meaningful relationships? First, start comfortably being yourself. You’ve gotta be authentic to people trust you. Secondly, being a good listener, and don’t get distracted, and finally, be aware that a long-lasting relationship must benefit each other. And don’t forget in order to have strong relationships, it will require time and energy to create a bond, so be intentional to direct your time and energy properly. Once you use assertively your communication skills, you will have lifelong relationships.
