"I'm planning to dive into some technical details today, as I've received some requests from the tech folks. Also, it's worth noting that we just had tech week.

A Snapshot of Key Metrics:?

- Monthly Recurring Revenue: $0

- Total New Signups this week: 5

- Site Traffic This Week: 44

-?New Users on site this week: 24 ( life is not bad )

We've implemented the Search Index feature, an integral part of our Best Share & Optimisation strategy. We created a virtual copy of the data to facilitate quicker searches.

How does the Search Feature work?

When a user initiates a search, it displays two results from all sections. This is a global search, so users can find anything they need. For instance, if I'm searching for a client's name, the results will display relevant details from client sections and also, users will get results from invoices and proposals associated with that client. This is also true for searches related to currency.

Now, let's discuss the Invoice Feature.

Users can create invoices in multiple different currencies. When an invoice is made in one currency and payment is collected in a different one, the final calculation shown on the dashboard will reflect the record from the live currency exchange rate And on the day the invoice was created, it might sound simple, but lot's of things are going on this Stage only.

Here is the Formula:

Invoice Value = Bank charges + Actual Settled Value (As per bank exchange rate) + Conversion Loss

We also made some interesting changes to the existing feature, on the Dashboard's invoice has multiple stages. For example, when an invoice is half completed, it is categorised as 'Draft'. However, users also have other stages for invoices. Once an invoice is shared with a client, it can't be modified. We figured this out during user testing and resolved the issue, so now users cannot alter data after the invoice has been sent to clients. They can dismiss it and create a new one if needed.

Let's talk about the Atomic Design System. I'm not sure if I've mentioned this before, but I was inspired by this concept. We're following it, and it's not merely a design;

it's a method of understanding and categorizing components and elements for the app or any design system. Small individual components are referred to as 'Atoms', and multiple atoms together create a 'Molecule'. For instance, when we constructed the Calendar, it was a group of input, icon, and button components, which we referred to as a 'Molecule'. Then we have the third stage, known as 'Organism', which forms when multiple molecules come together.

We're also employing a central modal mechanism. What this essentially means is that we don't need to render components multiple times. As mentioned in the atomic design part, we are creating a set of components that can be reused. So, when we render one modal and save it in the process, we can display the already rendered modal when the same UI appears again.

On the Business side,

we're in discussions with international money transfer companies about integrating their services into our app. I can't disclose much at this point, but if all goes well, in the coming months, users can make International Payment from workvio

So the Week 4 was cool, expected till the End but still some surprises.

Thank you so much for Joining, see you soon!
