Build a Network Worth Connecting to TOGETHER!

Changing the Trajectory of our Lives

Deep down inside we all desire to be influential and purposeful in life. How can we do that in today’s busy, superficial, social media driven world? We think we are so connected, but in reality, many of us feel lonelier than ever.

For years, I was strong, composed… and appeared to have it all together. What no one knew was what was REALLY happening in my life. In talking with others, I realize now that all of us have felt that disconnect at some point in our lives. This is often deeply painful and isolating. However, understand YOU are never truly alone.

Navigate: A Women’s Summit will equip you to develop deeply anchored connections, to find your place within the fleet, and to propel you forward. My talk will focus on the intentional steps I took in my life to refocus my future. It will include excerpts of my journey from brain fog to hyper-connector to now living a life of gratitude. The journey was and in some ways remains complicated, but the simple answer for me was: surrender.

When everything had changed except for the image I saw in the mirror, my question became: “who am I and what do I do now?”

As the Chinese proverb teaches us: “The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now!”

That means that today is a great day to explore how hyper-connectivity can change your life and your community.

Where do you start? Try to identify what’s keeping you up at night. That may help you find the reason for this “brain fog” that is affecting every area of your life. Recognize when you try to cover-up or deny what you are experiencing. Recognize the consequences and how they will change the trajectory of your life. Then realize, you can change that trajectory. You can learn to thrive under pressure, say goodbye to yesterday, and focus on self-care. Once we cut through our brain fog, we can embrace a new super power called hyper-connectivity.

My desire is to be able to instill the lessons I’ve learned and applied and to share those with you. One lesson I learned is that mutually beneficial relationships often start with a SINCERE desire to help someone else knowing that there will be NO direct benefit to yourself. Remember this: Super connectors are intentional connectors and focus on the “Internet of People vs the Internet of things”.

We will discuss ways to build an effective network, share simple networking tips that everyone can use, and explore the art of asking purposeful questions.

Come prepared to share, listen and learn. I have found that in surrender and vulnerability there is great freedom, but it is something that takes great strength, resiliency and wisdom. To be fully seen is truly a gift my friends. I look forward to having you join us for this empowering day! Let’s magnify the good, reset our destination and change our perspectives – let us…
