Build Microsoft Power App from Scratch In Less Than 5 Minutes

Introduction: PowerApps is fundamentally a development platform for Mobile and Web Apps. It allows citizen developers to reach capabilities that were once only reserved for high-end development tools. In other words, you can create an app for your organization by using a Drag and Drop interface. I love the capabilities and ease of use of PowerApps. What makes PowerApps even cooler is the fact that you can build apps really, really quickly. Power Platform enables citizen developers to create amazing apps within short time. Following is the app which makes entry of a newly arrived phone in the warehouse. I created this app from scratch. I used SharePoint (SP) as a Database.
Steps to Create App:??Following are the steps to create Restaurant Application from SharePoint-
1.??Create Restaurant Menu database using SP List.
2.??Create PowerApps by using SharePoint.
3.??Save, Publish and Share the PowerApps with required users.
Step-1: Create a SharePoint List
?Create a List in SharePoint and name it as "Restaurant Menu".
?Create Columns for FoodItem, Rate, Picture, Quantity, FoodType.
The below screenshot represents a SharePoint List.
Step-2:?Once all columns are created with appropriate types, it’s time to create our Restaurant App automatically using?Integrate?function.
On the same screen select?Integrate?>?Power Apps?>?Create an App
The new panel would open asking about name of the Application, give name as "Restaurant Menu App" and then click on "Create".

The automatically created app will contain three screens; 1. Browse Screen 2. Details Screen and 3. Edit Screen. The details are given below:
1st Screen is Browse Screen
The App opens to the Browse Screen, which shows the items that I created in SharePoint list. List has data in more columns than just?Title, the app will show that data. Near the top of the app, a title bar shows icons for Refreshing the list, Sorting the list, and creating an item in the list. Under the title bar, a search box provides the option to Filter the list.
2nd Screen is Details Screen: -We will show all information about the selected Food item from the Gallery, Title bar shows back icon-go back to Browse screen, delete icon-deletes the selected item, edit icon-go to edit screen.
3rd Screen is Edit Screen: - We can edit, create an item or update information about an existing item.
Step-3: Save the PowerApps. We can Publish and Share the app with required users.
Conclusions:
1. We can create PowerApps quickly.
2. We can customize it as per our requirements.
3. It is Easy.
