Build Instructional Video Skills While Supporting Research

Are you an experienced Systems Engineer with an interest in developing your skills creating instructional MBSE videos? Consider participating in this research study and building your skills at the same time.


WHERE: All sessions will be held on Zoom

WHEN: January 2025, Tuesdays, 1/7, 1/14, 1/21, and 1/28 from 7:00-8:30 PM ET; and One 45-60 minute follow-up session to be held the week of 2/3 – scheduled based on your availability.

WHAT’S INVOLVED:

Attend four FREE sessions where you will learn strategies for designing instructional MBSE videos that help your learners to develop their MBSE skills and knowledge.

After each session, you will implement what you learned by revising a video you have already developed or are currently working on. These assignments will take approximately 30 minutes each week. You will share this work with the group at the following session.

Participate in a one-on-one interview with the researcher one week after the fourth session. The interview will take between 45 and 60 minutes, and will be scheduled based upon your availability. The purpose of the interview is to discuss your perceptions of the engagement.

WHO: To be eligible for this study, you must be a U.S. citizen who is working as a systems engineer using MBSE. You must also be creating instructional videos for MBSE, and your videos must be in English.
