Welcome to Unnathi Healing Foundation. Everyone wants to give to society, and Unnathi provides platform to serve and be served. The approach is to give help to get help. The world is ours and we all have to transcend the horizons of individual identity to build the collective soul. It provides an opportunity to look at life as a whole and not just through a hole.
Founded in 2001, Unnathi stands for upliftment, and overall elevation of your being to realize your inner potential. Spirituality is self-realization and self-empowerment helps us to live a full life with existing resources. With this realization we can live life to our full potential beyond the materialistic outlook.
Unnathi Healing Foundation Was Founded In 2001 By
Dr. Saraswathi Hegde.
Dr. Saraswathi Hegde, a pranic healer, Sanskrit scholar, acharya, mentor and a social activist, has made it her life’s mission to elevate the well-being of people through spirituality and healing.
Dr. Saraswathi Hegde is a skilled author and orator who has contributed numerous articles to various well-known Kannada publications such as Vijaya Karnataka, Vijaya Vani and Sudha. She was a regular column writer for the Kannada newspaper Vijaya Karnataka on topics ranging from handling teenagers to tips on maintaining good health to name a few. These articles were later compiled to release a book titled “Pancha Prana†which sold numerous copies across Karnataka. Currently she is writing a column on Child care in Vijaya Vani regarding children’s overall health with focus on their mind and its Development.
She has translated Master Choa Kok Sui’s advanced pranic healing book into Kannada. She has appeared as a guest in numerous TV shows in Kannada and English TV channels.
Our Services:
1. Counselling:
Today, we live in a world dominated by a fast pace, deadlines, technology and competitiveness. All these factors take a toll on a person’s mind and body as we push ourselves to do better. Every person’s journey through life is unique with a unique purpose. Some people are able to face challenges with calm and collectiveness while others feel overwhelmed by it. UHF conducts one on one counselling with a customized approach to each individual’s situation. Parents of children with behavioral or health issues also benefit from counselling. The counselling addresses behavioral issues, issues related to academic challenges, academic anxiety, screen addiction, childhood obesity, sexual, depression, self-harm.
2. Healing & Training in Healing:
From the beginning of birth to death, a baby’s first cry to the last gasp of a dying person, breath is a crucial element for life. When this life giving breath is utilized properly, complete recovery is possible. Many religions talk about methods to achieving this and Unnathi emphasizes more on the practical and technical approach. Healing is the inner recovery process which is inbuilt in every individual. Every person’s healing needs are different based on the energy levels, chakral energy condition and health condition. Therefore each individual has to be analyzed and treated accordingly. Yogic healing is therefore a necessity to make our life whole.

Why Build India Movement?
India is a country with the most number of people under the age of 18 years in the world. And it is a goldmine of human resource for the future. But the goldmine is becoming more and more difficult to reach due to many problems plaguing the youth of the country. Problems like suicidal tendencies, depression, drug addiction, relationship issues are unfortunately on the rise. The best way we can stop this epidemic is to reach out to youngsters on a more personal level and to guide them the right way.
The BUILD INDIA MOVEMENT will be the guiding light for the youngsters Its aim is to involve the undergraduate students to help guide the adolescents with one to one interactions. The undergraduates will develop leadership skills in the process. Topics like personality development, soft skills, leadership skills, academic enhancement among others will be emphasized.
Unnathi’s Build India Movement is a unique program that helps Under-graduate students especially Health Science students to have peer interactions with adolescents, improve their listening, build empathy and grow their skills in counselling and communication. This is aimed at growing a nation of healthy, community oriented, service minded population of young citizens.
The Memorandum of Understanding signed with Government of Karnataka aims to cover every student studying between Class 8 to class 12 in Karnataka. Build India Movement aims to reach 10 lakh students per year from Class 8 to Class 12 in schools across Karnataka and provide the much-needed timely intervention to prevent suicides, bullying, substance abuse and academic stress. Also we guide them in creating awareness on studying methodologies, possible career options, leading a healthy lifestyle, civic responsibility, how to be an upstanding citizen, stress management and meditation.
Targets of Build India:
· Starting from Karnataka, Build India aims to reach 10 lakh adolescent students every year to provide peer interaction. This Movement will spread across India as it grows.
· To reach over two lakh Undergraduate Health Science students every year to provide value addition and promote the awareness of the importance of their role in society.
· Educating Under graduate and Post graduate students in social responsibility and accountability.
· Basic screening of medical and physical health for adolescents screening of medical and physical health for adolescents.
· Detection of self-harming behaviors related to depression, suicidal thoughts, substance abuse (drugs, tobacco and alcohol), screen addiction etc., and providing timely support from the appropriate professional.
· Conducting awareness and training programs for teachers and parents on adolescent behaviors and challenges and how to interact and deal with adolescents.
· Creating synergy by creating a network of strong like-minded individuals and organizations to work towards the cause of adolescent well-being.

Achievements of Build India Movement:
- MOU signed with Department of Education, Government of Karnataka.
- RGUHS – considered this as service activity to implement throughout all colleges under its jurisdiction.
- NIMHANS has come forward to support by conducting training session on basic techniques of counselling and communication to health science students.
- Reached out to 4000 health science students over 20 colleges as of January 2019
- Reached out to 10,000 adolescents from 50 schools.
- Places reached in Karnataka are Bangalore, Hoskote, Malur, Tumkur, Tiptur, Mysore, Hassan, Chitradurga, Shimoga, Shikaripura, Sirsi.
