Hello new Stay@Home worker, if you are like me, an eternal learner and you want to make the most of your time, here’s a list of temporarily free cybersecurity learning resources to strengthen your skills during the pandemic. Further down, there are additional helpful free online cybersecurity courses. Unfortunately, cyber crimes do not stop during a global pandemic. The world needs more cyber security experts, and it needs them now. There will be up to 3.5 million unfilled positions in cybersecurity by 2021, only 20% of the world's information security professionals are women, minorities (those who do not self-identify as White or Caucasian) are under-represented with less than 26% of the workforce across many large organizations... The importance of a diverse security workforce has already been proven, so if you’re able to use this time to train for a new career, DON'T HESITATE!
Expand your skillset no matter where you are, all you need is to "Be passionate and bold. Always keep learning. You stop doing useful things if you don't learn.' – Satya Nadella.
