Build it and they will come !
One of my favourite films and an interesting parallel to the some times blind faith required to start, run and develop a successful business. Especially, I might add, if you're an SME trying to raise growth capital through the UK banking system.
Anyway, this isn't the point I wanted to make, it was more regarding the unbelievable response I've had in the first week of trading from potential clients, suppliers, previous competitors, family, friends, well frankly the list is too long to do justice to it here. Suffice to say it has been incredibly humbling.
This culminated at the end of the week in lunch with a supplier my previous business wasn't able to pay. Despite being owed a significant sum he asked how he might help me win new clients. Luckily I've been able to connect him with a new business opportunity in my first week.
Thank you all so much and as nobody stole my lunch money I'll be back next week to give it my best again. I've built something new and few kind souls turned up.

6 年I've lived by this maxim for years. In large organisations, find where the enthusiasts / energy for your probe t is and work with them. Others will follow.
