Message from BUILA Chair, Andrew Bird:
After yet another extraordinary year for the international Higher Education (HE) sector, we are so glad to be able to celebrate all that has been achieved in partnership with members and valued stakeholders, such as yourselves, to maintain UK international recruitment.?It has been brilliant to continue to work closely with you on behalf of the sector to address the ever changing and challenging issues impacting?members.
Thank you for all your help, support, rapid responses and positiveness, we have really valued being able to work together in ‘real time’ to solve problems and anticipate those to come.
We hope to continue this very close working relationship during 2025 as we face new challenges and opportunities.

1 个月With UK #university International Directors meeting, collectively they have the chance to enable their success & ensure they are able to maintain & grow their #internationalstudent numbers now & into the #future. The solution lies in a focus on the entire student lifecycle from #recruitment to #employment in the UK &/or more likely back in students home countries. International directors & their teams have known for a long time that #internationalstudents’ primary motivation is #employability, #career success & progression. They now must make this core to their mission - a top to tail service - we first envisioned back in 2019. By creating international outcome departments (IODs) International Directors will ensure they deliver for their International student & #graduate cohort! Asia Careers Group SDN BHD data allows institutions to map international graduate employability & benchmark against peers.
