OpenAI CEO Sam Altman testified before a Senate panel, urging lawmakers to regulate artificial intelligence (AI) and emphasizing the need for safeguards. Altman highlighted the potential risks of increasingly powerful AI models and expressed concern over the manipulation of voters and the spread of disinformation.
