Buckling performance of new light steel keel wall column supported by skin
It is a new type of light steel keel structure, which is composed of the bearing frame of the wall column by connecting the thin wall square steel pipe with the standard V-shaped connector. The composite wall composed of the outer or inner wall pillar coated with wall panel material is the main vertical force member in this light steel structure house. Due to the particularity of its structural form, there is still a lack of applicable design theory and design specification. According to the principle of strain energy equivalence, the equivalent cross-section of this special type of light steel keel wall column is given. Wall panel material has an important influence on the buckling performance of light steel keel wall column. Considering the skin supporting effect of wall panel material on wall column, the total potential energy equation of wall column with the same wall panel material on both sides and the wall panel material on one side is established.
