BSSLED Australia receives Made in Australia approval for their new LED High Bay light

BSSLED Australia, based in Seven Hills, NSW, has just received Made in Australia approval for our new LED High Bay light and will now carry the famous yellow kangaroo logo.

At BSSLED we are fully committed to supporting local jobs, this is why we took the decision to carry out all product development which includes design and manufacturing at our state of the art facility in Seven Hills, NSW.

This allows us to offer piece of mind to our customers as we have full traceability of all components used in our products unlike most products which are simply imported and must be taken at face value.

In addition to the Made in Australia status we also have IPART approval from the NSW Energy Saving Scheme for the IP65 130w, 100w and 90w High Bay LED lights.

Designed specifically to operate in high-temperature environments encountered in Australia the lights have been tested up to 40°C ambient. Due to their advanced thermal design, the maximum temperature achieved is well below the maximum junction temperature of the OSRAM LED and case temperature of the OSRAM Intelligent driver.

With so many options available on LED High Bays and a potential lack of quality components and premature failures, the BSSLED High Bay gives a reliable, locally manufactured quality product that competes with Chinese Imports. It also comes with the standard BSSLED 5-year warranty that includes lumen depreciation to L70 (no small print or operating hour restrictions).
