BSS LED Linear Light compliant to Australian Emergency Standards

In keeping with our commitment to new product development, BSSLED’s new LED linear light is now fully compliant to AS/NZS 2293.3:2005 Appendix D, Emergency Escape Lighting. Testing involved several charging and discharging cycles of the battery under high and low temperature conditions (40° and 10° ambient respectively) to assess battery performance. Thermal and photometric testing was carried out at the NATA approved laboratory operated by LED LAB in Gosford, NSW.

Product range covered by the testing includes a 36w and 22w maintained and non-maintained version of the standard BSSLED LED Linear Light. Also in this range is the standard 36w, 22w and 16w fittings that incorporate the latest Osram S2 LED chip technology and the Osram OT range of drivers.

Glare from the fitting has been reduced (a major problem in Car Park environments) using the Italian Acrilux diffuser while the light fitting is manufactured in the UK and assembled in Australia.
