Our brands Bosch and Siemens Showcased Sustainable Innovation at IFA Berlin
The annual IFA Berlin tradeshow provided a glimpse into the future of sustainable home appliances. Bosch and Siemens, two leaders in home and kitchen appliances, unveiled several new products integrating the latest technology with an eye towards reducing environmental impact.
Bosch kicked things off with a press conference emphasizing the theme "It's Time to Care: Sustainable Homes of Tomorrow." They discussed how home appliances could evolve to be even more sustainable. Bosch's Green Collection and higher rates of A and B energy efficiency class washing machines and dishwashers already offer innovative solutions.
Visitors to the show could see new induction cooktops from Bosch and Siemens on display, featuring sleek designs and an advanced sensor for precise temperature control during cooking. A favorite functions button allows users to save personalized settings. Additional accessories make using the flexible cooking zones even more convenient.
Siemens stunned with their "Gardens of Intelligence" concept merging innovation, connectivity and cutting-edge aesthetics. Their decade of experience connecting homes was on full display. Attendees learned about the latest additions to Siemens' smart home ecosystem firsthand at their booth.
Perhaps most impressively, Siemens unveiled their new IQ700 oven with artificial intelligence capabilities. The oven can automatically recognize around 40 different foods on input and this number will continue growing. Simply load the oven, close the door, confirm and let the AI do the cooking - the future is here!
Both Bosch and Siemens videos emphasized their commitment to shaping a more sustainable future home through technology like Home Connect and advances that make caring for the planet easier than ever.
